10-year-old Mexican girl gives birth to baby boy after 31-week pregnancy

A 10-year-old Mexican girl has given birth to a baby boy after a 31 week pregnancy, according to reports.

The premature infant, which weighed 3.3 pounds, was born by Caesarian section at the Women’s Hospital in the city of Puebla and is in the intensive care unit recovering from pneumonia.

The young mother, who is from the nearby San Francisco Totimehuacan community, has returned home after the procedure but visits the baby every day to breastfeed, officials said.

The Puebla state Attorney General’s Office is now investigating whether the girl could have been raped and who the father is, the hospital’s director Rogelio Gonzalez said, according to UpFrontNewswire.

Mexican state laws say young moms are unable to have abortions unless a girl can prove she was the victim of sexual assault.

The state’s minimum age of consent is 12 and women who undergo abortions in Puebla face a fine or prison sentence if they are unable to prove they were sexually abused.

The laws are currently under review.

The girl, who has not been named, arrived at the medical facility on Oct. 22, suffering from life-threatening complications, including seizures.

Hospital officials said the newborn is in a good condition considering his premature birth and the mother is
recovering well.

This is not the first case of a shockingly young girl giving birth in Mexico.

In August last year, 11-year-old Amalia had a child two weeks premature after she was denied an abortion by the local Justice Department during the fourth month of pregnancy.

iPhone Photo Printer

This is the first printer that prints 4×6 quality photos directly from a docked iPhone or iPod touch, the printer also charges a docked iPhone or iPod touch. Also connects to Android phones (requires mini-USB cable), iPad, and iPad2.

“Requiring no computer or software, the printer is controlled from your iPhone via a free downloadable app. In less than a minute and without ink cartridges, it prints crystal-clear 300 dpi resolution pictures with vibrant colors, thanks to patented paper embedded with yellow, magenta, and
cyan dye crystals.” Very good idea.

iPlate

French designer Todd Borka has created the iPlate, a set of humorous concept designs of meal plates with images of Photoshop-like tools.

“Who has never dreamed of being able to manage details of one’s own life like we manipulate today images on software like Photoshop? Who has never thought of doing ‘apple Z’ after breaking a glass?”

“For the users of image editing software, there are easily recognizable and fun codes. I think that everyone knows a friend who will have fun with an iPlate.”

Then, you can try to import directly your steak from your fridge to your plate, change the colour of your
fish or rub the beets!

Motorola ET1

An Android tablet built for enterprises, the Motorola ET1 is a very different beast from the sort of tablet that you might use at home.

The ET1 is designed for retail and industrial environments. It's a chunky looking thing, certified to IP54 environmental standards (protected against dust and splashing water) and MIL STD 810G drop standards (multiple drops of 1.2m). The display is coated with a Gorilla Glass coating that is 30% thicker than consumer products, and the large surround is designed to make the ET1 easier to hold without accidentally pressing elements on the screen.

It looks a little old-fashioned on the surface, but underneath is a powerful device with a dual-core 1GHz processor, 1GB of RAM and 4GB of internal flash memory plus a microSD slot that will take up to 32GB.

One the front is a 7" 1024 x 600 pixel capacitive touchscreen plus a set of physical buttons. On the back is an 8 megapixel camera with autofocus and LED flash plus 720p HD video recording. There is an additional
camera on the front for video calling.

The operating system is Android 2.3.4 which is more common on smartphones than tablets. Motorola have a suite of enterprise applications available, or you can develop your own cross-platform apps with Motorola RhoElements. One neat feature with the software is the ability to support multiple users.

Motorola ET1 The tablet supports 802.11 a, b, g and n WiFi, but not 3G data. It has GPS and an electronic compass but we suspect that these will be of more use to applications than personal navigation.

Sony Tablet S and Sony Tablet P

We first saw the Sony Tablet S and Sony Tablet P back in April under slightly different names. After quite a wait, Sony have now confirmed that these tablets are real and will start shipping this month.

The Sony Tablet S is a somewhat conventional looking Android tablet, but it is perhaps the Sony Tablet P that will steal the show. The Tablet P comes with two displays with a hinge down the middle, so it folds up like a book, measuring 180 x 79 x 26mm when closed.

This design may seem completely mad when compared to conventional Android tablets, but this approach works well on a much smaller scale with the Nintendo DS. For example, you can use the bottom screen as a game controller while playing the game in the top screen, but obviously this will require a specially written
application.

Sony Tablet P The twin displays on the Sony Tablet P are each 5.5" 1024 x 480 pixel panels. Inside is a 1GHz dual-core processor with 512BMB of RAM. The Tablet P ships with Android 3.2 and supports both WiFi and 3.5G connectivity. Internal memory is just 4GB, but the Tablet P also has a microSD slot with a 2GB card in the standard sales package. On the front is a VGA camera for video calling, and on the back is a 5 megapixel primary camera with HD video capture.

When open, the Sony Tablet P measures 180 x 158 x 14mm, it weighs 372 grams and the P is quoted as having up to 5 days standby time and 4.6 hours of web surfing time on 3G or 6.1 on WiFi only. The Tablet P also has GPS, Bluetooth and support for 802.11 b, g and n wireless networks.

The Tablet P is available to order from Sony now for delivery from November onwards for £499, or €599.

Sony Tablet P The Sony Tablet S is definitely the more normal looking device, featuring a 9.4" 1280 x 800 pixel display and 1GB of RAM. Normal is relative though as the back actually folds around, raising the tablet up slightly so it is easier to use on a flat surface.

BlackBerry Curve 9380

The BlackBerry Curve 9380 is the first smartphone in the Curve range to feature a touchscreen. But of course, that means that it isn't really a Curve at all.. so what is it?
In essence, this is a cut-down version of the BlackBerry Torch 9860, a handset that hasn't really made much of an impact in the market. Presumably, Research in Motion believe that coming up with a cheaper version will boost sales, but we suspect that this isn't the real problem here.

Before we go any deeper, perhaps a look at the technical specifications are in order. The BlackBerry Curve 9380 has a 3.2" 360 x 480 pixel touchscreen display, a 5 megapixel camera on the back, WiFi and 3.5G support and GPS, plus the latest (and last) edition of the BlackBerry OS, version 7. NFC support is included, but there really isn't a lot of consumer demand for that yet.

BlackBerry Curve 9380 The problem is that specifications of this sort might have been vaguely impressive in mid-2009, but as we are now coming up to the end of 2011 it is looking like a pretty low-end device with similar specifications to the €190 HTC Gratia. We suspect though that BlackBerry will be charging rather
more than that for the 9380.. and if they do, then the question is why?

Despite improvements in the latest version, the BlackBerry 7 OS is not really very competitive with rivals. RIM know this, and the next generation of BlackBerry handsets will run a new OS called BBX, based in part on the operating system in the unsuccessful PlayBook tablet.

If you are a long-time BlackBerry fan then you will probably want a physical keyboard. If you are shopping for an inexpensive touchscreen smartphone, then you will probably want an Android device. If you are seriously considering the Curve 9380 then the iPhone 4S is probably out of your price range, but perhaps a more interesting alternative will be the forthcoming Nokia Lumia 710.

If, despite all this, you still want a Curve 9380 then they should be available sometime in the next few weeks.

New System of Solar Energy

A great effort about Solar Energy have been observed. Recently British has completed the plantation of Roof top solar plant. It size is 2 and half time of a football ground and it costs 4 million pounds. Interesting thing is that it contains 7000 panels and will be able to provide electricity to 480 Houses. Experts have said that it will reduce the Environmental pollution and its a big deal.

The energy that will receive from sun light will be able to use and store immediately. This technology has been discovered by a company named as "Light Source" and implanted with the collaboration of Spain's Engineering firm named as "Groutech".

This great solar panel is planted in 'Suffolk', city of British. Chief executive  of "Light Source" has said that the
problem of energy can be resolved in future using our Panel.

This is a great step toward the high demand of energy in future.
